Buccaneer line-up

The Erwin Hymer Groupís British flagship, twin-axle Buccaneer range offers five unchanged layouts for 2020, all with the E&P Level System which automatically levels the caravans, controlled from a handset. The Clipper has twin beds, the Cruiser, Barracuda and Commodore have island beds and the Aruba has a nearside double bed.

New lighting design is introduced, including low-level strip lighting in bedrooms. The two-tier kitchen worktop arrangement which was introduced for 2019 has now been replaced by a one-level kitchen.

Christmas Dinner Rally  5-9th Dec 2019

Change to the Christmas rally  the Hotel / Christmas Dinner details  recorded in the Rally book from The Strawberry Bank Hotel to the following for the Christmas Rally :- Haigs Hotel, 273 Kenilworth Rd, Balsall Common, CV7 7EL  Tel. No. 01676 533004 email www.haigshotel.co.uk.The hotel, is approx 2 miles from the Somers Wood Rally and offers B/B accommodation for any members wanting to attend the event but not with their caravan.Single room £60 per night - Double /twin room £65 per night - Superior Double  £80 per night

Breakfast can be  added at £6-95p per person. Hotel booking should be made direct with Hotel Reception.

Christmas Dinner Meal all bookings should be made with Rally Marshal whether staying at the hotel or caravan

A full varied menu will become available nearer the date, approx costs will be:-2 course with coffee / tea and mince pie £18-00, 3 courses will be approx £22

We have a varied program that we hope everyone will be able to find something to their liking, we have managed to ensure that an electric hook-up is available on ever Rally for our members convenience.

We have a very interesting and varied Rally Program for this coming Year and look forward to meeting up with old friends and new on the Rallies.

On the "Sponsors page" you will see that we have some new Sponsors, we hope you will give them all your support.

If you have any information of any events of interest that coincide with any of our Rallies, please let me know.

On the Rally Gallery page I have introduced a "Memory Lane" slot. If you have any old photo's with info of rallies or Buccaneer events, that are of interest, such as rally fields, get together's, presentations etc; please forward them for publication.

We are continuing in 2019 with no rally booking deposit, but this is at the marshals discretion, if a deposit is required details will appear in the handbook and the deposit must be sent with the booking slip.

We are also continuing with booking certain rallies via email, this is proving to be a quick and easy way to book rallies, details of which rallies you can book via email can be seen on the web page "Rallies & Social Events", also full details in the Handbook.

If you wish to attend a rally please be sure to book with the marshall, either by booking slip or email as permitted. It is important that we assist the marshalls in any way we can, and knowing the number of members attending helps with organising the rally.

 But please remember it will still be very important to contact the Rally Marshal regarding cancellations. Once you have booked your place at a rally you are part of the Marshalís paperwork and part of the Rally expenses, so if your circumstances alter and you have to cancel please email the Marshal as soon as possible.
