RALLY PROGRAMME
Well, that’s it for another year. Christmas is over and the New (and rather cold at the moment) New Year is upon us and it’s time to start planning and booking your rally programme.
5th to 10th April - The first rally is over the Easter weekend at Little Crakehall in the Yorkshire Dales. There is a host of attractions nearby including nearby Bedale, Leyburn and Hawes. ll of these are linked by an excellent bus service from Little Crakehall The world famous horse racing stables at Middleham are having an open day on Good Friday. 9 electric points are available so book early to avoid disappointment
19th to 24th April - Compass Invitation Rally at Catterick Racecourse. The site is close to Richmond, Northallerton, Darlington and the Yorkshire Dales. There is a large Sunday market adjacent to the site and a meal at the nearby Bridge hotel with wine and beer will be provided by Catterick Caravans. In addition they are paying for 2 nights site fees and offering 10% discount in their accessory shop throughout the rally.
24th to 29th April - River Laver Holiday Park near Ripon is a pretty, lawned site close to the centre of Ripon with its beautiful Cathedral. Electric hook ups are available and the site is only a short run (approximately 22 miles) from Catterick. Nearby are Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall and Ripley Castle. There is an excellent bus service between Ripon and Harrogate
3rd to 8th May - May Day holiday at Carsington Fields Caravan Park (which is adjacent to Carsington Water) where we have the use of all facilities. Besides the glories of Carsington water, other attractions are close at hand including Ashbourne and Matlack Bath where you will find the Heights of Abraham cable car ride, the lead Mining museum and Gullivers Kingdom
